Fr. Restituto Caliwan Ogsimer, Jr., CS celebrated his 25th anniversary of priestly ordination at the parish church of the Immaculate Conception in the town of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Philippines. It was in the same parish church where he was ordained 25 years ago. The celebrations were concelebrated by the Local Ordinary of the Diocese of Boronggan, Samar, the local clergy and some Scalabrinian priests.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the close relatives of Fr. Resty, delegations of migrants that he served in Australia, Japan, Guam, the Middle East, Pakistan and in the Philippines. The concelebrated Mass was also attended by the local mayor and the congressman together with some of the local religious and other classmates, teachers and friends of Fr. Resty from different places in the locality as well as beyond. After the Mass was lunch and a very well choreographed program of speeches and dances especially featuring the local traditional kuratsa dance.
