St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Province (Australia-Asia)
Overview
The 56th Provincial Assembly of the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Province was hosted for the first time at the Martino Pastoral Center in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Bringing together delegates and members from across the Asia-Australia region, the assembly focused on the central theological theme of walking as pilgrims of hope. The gathering reviewed the application of the General Missionary Project in the province, evaluated safeguarding guidelines, reviewed vocational progress, and held a concelebrated liturgy with recently ordained priests.

Scalabrinian Spirituality
The theme “Pilgrims of Hope Walking in Charity” highlighted the missionary and spiritual teachings of Saint John Baptist Scalabrini, linking consecrated and community life to regional action:
“God loves his Son and loves him in essence. It is impossible that he may find his delight in anyone else but in him because God’s love is infinite and it can only have an object of infinite value… But this beloved Son of his, became man. Therefore, he loves man in him. With one joy and one love he embraces all, body, flesh, and soul.”
